Not enough that fans pay for an expensive collector's edition but you don't even put the damned game on disc?)) And many games don't even pay for the distribution or manufacturing of cover inserts, etc. Especially when they don't give you the game disc. Much like I feel game companies charging $70 for a new release is pushing it. But $60 for a singular release of a decades old game seems excessive. ![]() See Sonic Origins.but Origin wasn't done well and has a host of issues that made me pass and wait for a price drop. I wouldn't mind paying $60 for a compilation if it was done well. They released USSF II: Final Challengers at $60. I wish they'd release more physical and or at a cheaper price point. The difference is while I am glad Capcom does something with it's back catalog. To be fair I wish Nintendo whored its legacy content half as much as Capcom. So far Capcom's support could be summed up as whoring out it's legacy content. Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection Resident Evil 5 (may be missing a few RE here or there? I think 6 came as a cloud version? I know 7 released as a cloud version in Japan.) Wait they brought FE to Switch? And some Burnout titles and Lost in Random? I think that's a good way to sum up EA's support of Switch. Ok ok.they brought some half assed legacy versions of FIFA.ok ok.they brought Apex Legends too iirc. Just Dance (because of course there is a Just Dance) I might have said Ubisoft but some of their behavior lately has left a sour taste. Could we get Ryu Hayabusa/Kasumi and a Guilty Gear Rep? I'd be happy with Baiken or Giovanna but Sol Badguy would probably be the likely pick). They also did some work on a key Switch first party title with Three Houses (as pointed out again by an aside Koei Tecmo and Arc System Works should see some representation in the next Smash. In addition? They have also put out Marvel UA 3. Meanwhile Koei Tecmo has contributed with the likes of Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, Fire Emblem Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes. Square again pointed out by Matthew Gavin brought Octopath Traveler, Triangle Strategy and Bravely Default 2. But they are still support regardless.Įven if we put aside ports? Square and Koei Tecmo have brought new original titles to the Switch. Nothing against the games, I've wanted to check them out myself, just haven't got around to it. ![]() The Atelier games I feel like are overlooked. Koei Tecmo too brought ports like Ninja Gaiden Master Collection and Fatal Frame Maiden of Black Water (though to my understanding Nintendo is a majority owner of that franchise and outright has rights to Maiden of Black Water? We will be getting a remake of Crisis Core of sorts. already highlighted a number of the FF ports. I think it definitely has to be between Square and Koei Tecmo.īoth have brought plenty of ports to the Switch.
